Recent debate has highlighted the Important significance of social partnership in further education for developing new approaches to English vocational and training (VET). There is international evidence contribution that well-established partnerships between employers, unions government can make deliver VET effectively. It argued England benefit from adopting embedding models, especially ones which (FE) colleges have a local regional anchoring role. However, date, persistently failed implement any kind significant various reasons – crucial one being reliance on an employer-led approach VET. An examination FE as part system reviews benefits establishing coordinated skills providing coherent local, national pathways vocational, technical skilled work. would integrate universities, employer training, school curriculum careers.
